I recently applied for a position that I was under qualified for at a startup that I was really interested in. They had another position that I fit the qualifications for/might have been slightly overqualified for and decided that if they didn't consider me for the higher position, they might for the other position. The operations lead came back very quickly and thanked me for the interest, but that I didn't quite fit what they were looking for in the higher position and to apply for any future opening that may interest me. I was planning on applying separately for the other position, but 4 days later she reached out to me about the lower position and it I'd be interested in it. I said yes and I set up an initial interview with their CTO. The initial interview with the CTO went well, albeit very short. I could tell that they were very busy, and even when I asked him what their biggest challenge they're currently facing or expecting to face is, he answered that the biggest thing they're focused on now is "getting more hands. Apart from that it would be developing the future generations of the system. He told me that the next step would be the technical interview, and assured me it wouldn't be anything too challenging or anything. The operations lead reached out to me within a half hour trying to schedule the technical interview, and she even used the phrase "as soon as possible" in bold letters, so I felt very good. Technical interview was scheduled 2 days thereafter, and I believed it to have gone well. The man wasn't actually a part of their company, but rather one of their investors that has extensive experience in the industry. There was only one question where I wasn't very confident, but he even gave me good verbal feedback after the question saying I knew a decent amount for no experience with the particular system, and then went on to explain all of the other possibilities. Long story short, I felt very confident leaving both interviews, however I haven't heard from them since. My last interview was the morning on January 28th, and I sent a follow up email to the operations lead the following day, but haven't heard back.

after following up job interview

Hi nannies! I had a phone interview with a potential family two weeks ago and it went great. Last Friday i met them in person and we had got along so well, I think we would be a great match and I think they felt the same way. On Monday, MB sent me a background check and it passed, but she hasn't said anything yet. Is it too soon to message her and check in? I don't wanna seem desperate, and I definitely don't want to annoy her but I really want this job. Any advice is appreciated!

To set up the timeline, I submitted an application to this job on December 4th. I got a pretty quick automated email response a few days later asking me to submit video responses to a few questions; I took care of that and did pretty well. The next week I had a phone call with someone from the department. That also went really well, and that afternoon I got an email asking me to set up a Zoom meeting with the head of the department. That meeting happens the following week, and this ALSO goes really well. The director is telling me all about the program, and let's me know that the company has a really busy time coming up on the first full week of January, so ideally she would like to have new employees begin on the 4th. She asked me if that would work for me, I said absolutely. Then she said she wanted to set up a zoom meeting in the next few days with the man who would be my direct boss. I coordinate with his secretary to schedule this meeting on 12/28/2020. Again, zoom meeting goes well, boss is talking like I've got the job already and says he's heard only great things about me from his colleagues.

On August 3rd I interviewed for an ED Tech Position at a major hospital and was told that I would be hearing from HR if I got the Job. I looked on their job site showing the Job Application status and it says job status is "on hold" and that my application was forwarded to the hiring manager. I contacted the person I had interviewed with a week after my interview and she had told me that "My application was still under review". The status has not changed on the site. It has now been 2 weeks since the interview and I am wondering if I should send the person I interviewed with an email just following up. If I should email them, What do I say?

Hi there, I recently (on September 2nd) gave a job interview for the position of Project Manager, which by the way went very well ( I'm extremely happy and determined to win this position) and they told me they would be in touch for the second phase interview with other Management levels via Skype. I just want to know how many days should I wait for a response? Or if this it's not going to happen in the next week? Or should I continue to apply for other requests, without waiting for no more? Location Albania.
